Run a pot light through a fire-rated ceiling the old way and you're building a drywall tent or buying a bulky fire box for every fixture — hours of labour to keep the floor above its rating. The Luvelle 4″ fire-rated LED pot light removes that step: a canless wafer with an integrated fire-resistant steel enclosure, cETL/ULC listed to UL 1598 / CSA C22.2 and tested for use in 2-hour fire-rated floor-ceiling assemblies, so the rating travels with the fixture instead of a separate box. It's the same 750-lumen, 5CCT-selectable wafer the rest of the line uses — warm 2700K through crisp 5000K, chosen on the driver before install — in a body under an inch thick that clips straight to the drywall on heavy-duty springs, even directly under a joist. Type IC and air-tight, it buries safely in spray foam or fibreglass without a clearance gap, holding the ceiling's thermal envelope. Damp-location listed for bathrooms and covered soffits, it's the fixture for the jobs where code is watching — multi-unit suites, basement apartments, condo retrofits, and any floor assembly that has to hold its rating.
